First: fake flowers on my real arm, done by Hannah at Castro Tattoo this weekend. I like the look of the vintage floral postcards and wanted a tulip because it is my mom's favorite flower. It is a crummy photobooth photo, but you get the idea.
Second: T took me on a surprise date to the Pacific Orchid Exposition. There were thousands, possibly millions of different orchids from all over the world: California, Florida, Hawaii, Taiwan, etc. It was amazing. I read The Orchid Thief by Susan Orlean two years ago which really piqued my interest. It was made into the movie Adaptation but as usual, the movie barely does the book justice.
