SFMoma

Today the SFMoma is closing for over 2 years for a renovation and was free for the entire weekend. I came once before a week months ago; the previous time I was taken with the Diego Rivera, Frida Kahlo, Dali, and sculptures. It is amazing how you (I) can be drawn to different works at different times, because this go around I was more drawn to the looming Clyfford Still paintings, and a new exhibit that we didn't see until the end and were exhausted from standing among such greatness, a showing of Lebbeus Woods' sketches, designs, and steam-punk, futuristic, fantasies.
Both occasions, though, my favorite work in the whole museum was Fred Tomaselli's collage (first photo below).
